Quick check of some important recruitment criteria:

• 25 hrs + 2 nights babysitting is sufficient (possibly more negotiable if the work is "hands-off" because you work nights). Occasional extra work (e.g. in school holidays) if properly paid is OK.
• You can give two full days off weekly. (Babysitting may occasionally be possible on these if paid).
• The au pair will be able to get to suitable English lessons (two or 3 hours per week is OK in the current climate) and also to your nearest town easily, affordably and independently.
• English is (by far) the main language used in your home (as the au pairs come to learn English).
• There's no sole charge of children under 2.
